Well, lucky for you these tomato tips are really just information on how to give a tomato plant what it needs. But, if you've read more than one page on this gardening website, you know that I like to comb the ends of the earth looking for gardening information, and so my posts aren't always concise. Instead they are rather long. Sometimes they have to be to convey the amount of information that a gardener needs to know about a topic.

The other day I received an email from a website patron that read like this:

Dear Early Gardener,

You write too much. Sometimes I wish you'd just get to the point. Please, PLEASE, just tell me what I need to know and leave out the rest.

Sincerely,

Your Spouse
